Preparatory Classes

   In any construction or Fabrication industry welding operation plays a vital role and often the product quality is determined by welding Quality. The welding operation and inspection of welding is a complex in nature due to many process variables involved in Welding. Hence the welding is often termed as "Special Process" which requires to be qualified and established. Basically, the Welding Quality is determined by the Welder and Welding Inspector. It is also important that these personnel are properly Trained, Qualified and certified in their respective discipline.

Welder Training

   In IQTC, we provide training, Qualification and certification of welders involved in SMAW, GTAW, MIG, MAG. The welder training programs are given as much as practical training possible to enable the welder to get the confidence and pass the Test. We also provide necessary class room training to the welder to understand the basics of welding, welding machine and welding procedure.

Eligibility : 8th Passes / ITI (Fresh/ Experienced) 

Quality Control- Welding Inspection - CSWIP 3.1

   It is equally important to determine the weld quality through proper inspection by a qualified and certified Welding Inspector. The welding Inspector shall have sufficient knowledge and skill to inspect the welds in all aspects. Our class room training will impart that knowledge and skill to the welding inspector. During training sessions, in-depth discussions are held in simple and easy- to-comprehend manner for the overall benefit of each and every candidate. The comprehension of each candidate is then evaluated through questions and specific questionnaires. Our learning systems are thus easy to understand and useful.

Plant Inspection Examinations

     We offer Preparatory classes for plant inspections. All study materials cater to careers in Oil, Petroleum industries involved in Plant inspections, Plant Shutdowns, Maintenance and Turnaround. 

        The Preparatory courses provided in IQTC are

o   API 510- Pressure Vessel

o   API 570- Process Piping

o   API 653 – Above Ground Storage Tanks

o   API 571 – Damage mechanisms and Materials

o   API 580 – Risk Based Inspection (RBI)

     Starting with Design, the course covers Materials, Construction, Inspection and Testing of Plant Equipments / Process Piping / Storage Tanks.

     All applicable API Codes will be detailed and discussed alongside relevant Code chapters. IQTC always focuses on candidates understanding Code Rules and Principles apart from clearing Examinations comfortably.
